Students, who pass a high school class that is "articulated" with a comparable college class, are eligible for college credit.
How does Articulation work?
- Articulated
credit is granted in accordance with the Title V policy of “Credit by
Examination”, which allows students to earn no more than 12 units of
articulated credit from high school or ROP courses.
- At MSJC, the exception to the
Title V policy is in the Child Development Education Program, which limits the
total units articulated to any high school or ROP courses to 6 units.
- Articulated credit is posted
to the student’s transcript after the student successfully completes 12 units
with a 2.0 average or better at MSJC.
